3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Scrape, download, or store YouTube videos without permission.
• Summarise copyrighted content in a way that violates YouTube’s policies.
• Distribute summaries in a misleading or deceptive manner.
• Interfere with the functionality or security of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Accounts and Subscriptions

a) Account Registration

To access some features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining account security and ensuring the accuracy of your information.

b) Subscription Plans & Payments

We offer free and paid subscription plans. Payments are processed securely via payment processor Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges based on your selected plan. No refunds are provided except as required by law.

c) Cancellation & Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation prevents future billing after the current subscription period but does not refund past payments. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

5. YouTube Compliance & Third-Party Content

• Our Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
• We rely on publicly available YouTube video transcripts for summarisation.
• We do not store or redistribute YouTube videos.
• By using our Service, you agree to comply with YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s API Services Terms.

If a video owner restricts or removes content, our Service may no longer be able to summarize it.

6. Intellectual Property

a) Your Content

If you upload or submit content (such as text or URLs), you retain ownership. However, you grant us a limited license to process and display summaries based on your input.

b) Our Content & Technology

All software, algorithms, and branding related to our Service are owned by us. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute our technology without permission.

7. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

a) Service Provided "As-Is"

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

b) No Guarantee of Accuracy

• Summaries are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or reliable.
• You acknowledge that AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional or legal advice.

c) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Errors or inaccuracies in summaries.
• Third-party actions, including YouTube content removal.
• Data loss or security breaches.

If liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the last three (3) months.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
